Bon Voyage
So we waked up early in the morning in order to be on time to catch the ferry from Piraeus.
The trip lasts almost 8 hours from Piraeus to Souda with Anek Lines.
So you have plenty of time to do a lot of things, such as, read a book, watch television, eat at the restaurants, wander around the ferry and you can take a lot of pictures as I did, while approaching the port of Souda.
To be honest it was a really long trip and very tiring, the only advantage is that you can take a lot of things with you, something you can not do if you choose to travel by plane. Unless it is a quick trip.
Here are some pictures that I took, while I was on the ferry.
When we arrived at the island, Cretan Hospitality awaits us.
I forgot to mention that our destination was a beautiful village called Kalyves.
It was love at first sight. The house is literally 1 minute from the beach, actually you can see the sea and admire it. This is what I did, while I was there. I was sitting at the balcony and enjoying the view every morning, while I was drinking my coffee and eating all those traditional homemade sweets. Only the smell of the sea and you were the happiest human on earth.
Lets go back to Cretan Hospitality.
